Sóller Train
The Sóller railway is characterized by the special and attractive route it takes, overcoming the natural barrier of the Sierra de Alfàbia, 2.8 km wide and 496 meters high.
To do this, in just 7 kilometers, the railway rises 199 meters with an inclination of 23 millimeters, runs through thirteen longitudinal tunnels ranging from 33 to 2,876 meters, crosses several bridges, the «cinc-ponts» viaduct that consists with five arches 8 meters high and a large number of curves, some of them with radii less than 190 meters.
